Ingredients Get a Facelift
For version 2.0 of Gluten Free we compiled a list of over 700 ingredients and their gluten free status. Which we thought was great – but we quickly realized that lots of people had other sensitivities like lactose, nuts, soy…. the list goes on and on. So in Gluten Free 3.0 we let users specify ingredients that make them sick. Or override our colors if you’ve found you’re not sensitive to an ingredient. Have multiple devices? No problem! Your profile will sync across all of them – delivering custom flags based on your settings.
You’ll also notice a lot more information presented about ingredients. Gone are the days of a name and a color – now we’ve scoured the web for information on nearly all of our ingredients. So if you’re curious what that unpronounceable chemical is you’re eating – you can now find out… if you dare.
